By Car

Use Google Maps and Street View above to find us – the white van is not always parked outside :-)

Tip:

Morris Road is the middle part of a single stretch of road that is called Violet Road to the north, and Chrisp Street to the south. Look for a corner shop called ‘Lions Express’ and some large brick Victorian warehouse buildings marked ‘Spratt’s Patent’ in whitewash, and drive through the large green gates into the car park.

Limehouse Cut is the building diagonally opposite the gates through the car park, also marked as No. 46.  Ring 7A on the entryphone system for access.

Parking

Parking is FREE. In order of preference, please use:

  • Space 61 – this belongs to the studio and is immediately inside the gates on the right
  • Any space marked ‘V’ for ‘visitor’ – these are immediately inside the gates to the left
  • If all the above are full, please call the studio and we will bring you a permit for parking in the Residents’ bays in the street.

By Bicycle

You can get to us directly via the canal network which makes a lovely trip. We are on the Limehouse Cut canal which joins Regent's canal at the Limehouse Basin to the West, and the Lee River to the East. Download a map here. Look out for the steps next the bridge marked 'Violet Road' - we are almost directly opposite as you come up to the road. There is space for 2 bikes in the common parts of the building, or more left locked in the carpark.

By Tube

Langdon Park is the nearest station (DLR), which is relatively new and therefore not on some maps: it is on the Stratford branch of the DLR, between Devons Road and All Saints.

Use the TFL Journey Planner below to plan your route:

Journey Planner

Annoyingly, Google Maps shows Langdon Park station as being right next to us, which is not actually the case, but this map gives directions from the actual location of the station, or follow these instructions:

Exit same side if arriving from the south (Canary Wharf), or cross the bridge and then exit if arriving from the North (Stratford).

Turn right onto the main road (Chrisp Street).

Chrisp Street runs straight into Morris Road - look for a corner shop called ‘Lions Express’ on your right (about 4 minutes’ walk) and some large brick Victorian warehouse-type buildings marked ‘Spratt’s Patent’ in whitewash.

Limehouse Cut is the building diagonally opposite the large green gates through the car park, also marked as No. 46.  Ring 7A on the entryphone system for access.
