BACKLINE
Although the best modern plug-ins are capable of emulating pretty much anything, guitar effects in particular can have such an effect on the way a player thinks, so there's still nothing like the real thing when it comes to pre-amps and stomp boxes. Our collection includes many classics, as well as some very high quality modern effects, and as with our instruments, they're all included in the price.

SANSAMP PSA1 & POWERENGINE 60
Tech 21's Sansamp PSA1 is the most versatile non-digital guitar pre-amp available - it uses a variety of extremely high quality circuitry to effectively achieve an all-analogue modelling pre-amp, capable of a wide range of tones from clean to cream to crunch, as well as full-on distortion in both 'British' and 'American' styles. It's fully programmable so that sounds can be recalled easily for re-takes, or mid-song via the MIDI Mouse footswitch. Use it either with the built-in speaker emulation straight into Pro Tools, or fire-up the Celestion-loaded Power Engine 60 2x12" power amp/speaker cab to take advantage of our extensive mic collection. You can also see our Korg DTR2000 rack tuner in the picture - use this in 'strobe' mode for super-accurate tuning of guitars, basses and other instruments - complete with a nice big display, built-in microphone and alternate tunings.

MOOG PEDAL BOARD
Bob Moog's name is synonymous with the finest in synthesizer design, but his Moogerfooger pedals have now become modern classics, well known to discerning guitarists and bassists for offering unique effects with audiophile quality, and an incredible level of real-time control - all pedals can be controlled via expression pedals (we have 3), and you can even interconnect their control voltages to design totally new effects. Their very wide ranging input gain controls allow them to be used with anything from guitars to +4dB pro gear, and of course, if you want the complete Moog synthesis experience, you can always plug your instrument into our MiniMoog Voyager!

- MOOGERFOOGER RING MODULATOR
One of only a few ring modulators available, the pedal takes your instrument's signal and processes it with a built-in oscillator to produce sum and difference tones - produces anything from a slight metallic edge to extreme space aliens!
- MOOGERFOOGER ANALOGUE DELAY
Moog managed to source a limited quanity of original 'bucket brigade' chips to enable them to introduce this sublime-sounding pedal offering over a full second of true analogue delay - by far the longest available. Create some truly beautiful effects by interconnecting it with the other pedals in the range.
- MOOGERFOOGER MURF
A completely unique effect, the MuRF feeds your signal through a series of 8 Moog resonant filters, each of which has their own level control. What's more, the signal moves from one filter to the next in one of 24 different rhytmic patterns, the tempo of which can be controlled by knob or tap-tempo, and an envelope control shapes the attack and decay of each note. Seriously funky.
- MOOGERFOOGER FREQBOX
Another completely unique effect, the FreqBox essentially combines a classic Moog oscillator with an envelope follower to produce anything from subtle guitar-synth type sounds to full-on searing oscillator sync - must be heard!
- MOOGERFOOGER 12-STAGE PHASER
Moog's original 12-stage phaser has become a much-sought-after classic, and this modern refinement takes things a step further by substantially improving audio quality and reliability, as well as offering loads of real-time controls.

'MAGIC BOX' PEDAL BOARD
Our 'Magic Box' pedal board is stocked with what we feel are the finest examples of the staple guitar effects such as distortion, wah and chorus. We use GigRig Virtual Batteries to power pedals that can normally only be run on a 9V battery, to provide a constant level of power without losing low-noise performance.

- ROCKTRON BANSHEE TALK BOX
Make your guitar talk (or your bass, keyboard or turntable for that matter) and get some awesomely funky sounds in the manner of Frampton, Steely Dan, and best of all, Chaka Khan's 'Tell Me Something Good'! Rocktron's modern incarnation not only offers superior audio quality to original 70s models, but also carries no risk of damaging your amp.
- TC ELECTRONIC SCF CHORUS/FLANGER
Chorus and flanging from a company whose name is synonymous with top-quality audio processing. To be found on the pedal boards of many of the greats.
- CORNELL REISSUE DALLAS-ARBITER FUZZ FACE
Probably the best known and most sought-after distortion pedal thanks to its unique sound, and its use by Jimi Hendrix. This re-issue is part of a very limited run made by Dennis Cornell - who created the original Fuzz Face for Jimi - and uses a painstakingly tracked-down set of original components including the famous germanium transistors.
- ELECTRO-HARMONIX BIG MUFF
Another classic distortion pedal which has defined the sound of many bands for more than 30 years. Use the tone control to pick out harmonics, and the sustain control for huge sustain!
- BOSS MT2
For really extreme sounds, reach for the Boss MT2 - their single best selling pedal. It features two-stage gain for extra-heavy overdrive, and a 3-band EQ with sweepable mid for precision tone adjustment.
- VOX V847 WAH
A wider, cleaner sound than the Crybaby, the Vox pedal is the 'other' classic wah, and great for funk - Shaft anyone?
- DUNLOP CRYBABY WAH
The original wah made famous by Hendrix et al. A classic sound which also works very well when followed by distortion.
