RECORDING STUDIO RATES & BOOKING
Our rates are for a minimum 9-hour day (normally 10am – 7pm) - overtime is charged in addition as below. Hire includes all equipment and instruments in the studio, and as much tea and coffee as you can drink, but not consumables and other ‘extras’ (please read our Terms & Conditions).
Everyone knows that studios can’t charge what they used to these days, so rather than start with a high asking price and haggle, we feel a more honest approach is to offer our ‘best price’ to everyone :-) Here are our rates:
Studio with House Engineer £325 first 9 hours; additional hours @ £35
Studio with Senior Engineer £395 first 9 hours; additional hours @ £40
Studio with Senior Engineer/Musician/Producer £495 first 9 hours; additional hours @ £55
We are occasionally able to offer half days at short notice at two-thirds the price of a regular day if the studio would otherwise be empty – please enquire not more than 2 weeks in advance.
Mobile Recording from £495 per day including 1st engineer, depending on requirements – please call
Training from £195 per person per day, depending on requirements – please call

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Here’s the boring bit where we try to make sure that we stay in business :-) Please read it!
Payment - 14-day account terms are available to ‘blue chip’ companies and government agencies (please enquire), all other bookings must be covered by cleared funds paid in advance – a booking will not be considered made until it has been paid for, or a purchase order has been received in the case of account customers.
Cancellations - a full refund will be given to cancellations with more than 1 month’s notice, 50% for 2 weeks’ notice, zero thereafter.
Consumables/Extras – the cost of hiring the studio does not include consumable items and other optional extras. By hiring the studio you agree to pay for any consumables/extras used/booked by any member of your party during the session. A non-exhaustive list follows:

Breakages/Missing Items – by hiring the studio you agree to pay for the cost of repairing/replacing any items damaged by any member of your party during the session, or going missing during the session.
Engineers/Producers – depending on availability, we reserve the right to provide an alternative engineer of equivalent quality (not necessarily one of those featured on our ‘people’ page). If a specific person is important to you, please make this clear when booking.
Downtime – although we go to considerable lengths to avoid downtime during a session, the highly technological nature of modern recording means that it is impossible to safeguard 100%. In the event of any downtime during your session due to a technical fault with the studio, the sole remedy will be to make up the lost time without charge for the studio or any engineer included in the original cost of the hire.
Copyright – copyright in all materials generated at a session will reside with The Limehouse until such time as all costs of hire/consumables/extras relating to that session are paid for in full with cleared funds.
Cheques – please allow 10 working days for a cheque to clear. Make payable to ‘Rupert Pfaff’ (‘The Limehouse’ and ‘Recording Studio London’ are trading styles of Rupert Pfaff).
VAT – all prices exclude VAT, currently charged at 17.5%.
Privacy - we do not store any credit or debit card details.
