Montgomery Community Media (MCM) is the only independent, nonprofit organization providing direct access to public media to Montgomery County residents as well as nonprofit organizations, associations, and businesses.
Our fully equipped television studios and podcast rooms located at our Rockville headquarters and Silver Spring media lab are available for rental. Create your own media in our studios with support from our award-winning production services team.

Podcast Studio – Rockville
Rockville Podcast Studio
The fully equipped studio can be rented for up to 4 hours for podcast production. A MyMCM audio technician will be available to assist with registration. The audio file will be sent via an electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail. Options include recording the podcast remotely via Zoom and editing services.
There is a maximum of 3 people in the podcast studio.

Television Studio – Rockville
Rockville Television Studio A
There are two studios at our Rockville headquarters, which are available to rent for a half or full day. The rental includes the services of a studio manager, a CG operator, a technical director, a floor manager, two cameramen, an audio technician and a teleprompter operator. Services include set preparation, production rehearsal, live production and set hitting. Images from the recording will be delivered via an electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail.

TV Studio-Silver – Spring Media Lab
Silver Spring Media Lab Television Studio
The Silver Spring Media Lab studio can be set up with or without green screens and is available for rental for a half or full day. Rental includes the services of a Studio/Technical Manager, CG Operator, Set Manager, Camera Operator, Audio Technician and Teleprompter Operator. Services include light set preparation, rehearsal, live production and set striking. Images from the recording will be delivered via an electronic file transfer system, currently we use Hightail.
