Three members of K-pop boy group Stray Kids have tested positive for Covid-19 again, with South Korea recording more than 50,000 new cases in one day.

In an announcement, Stray Kids’ agency JYP Entertainment said members Lee Know, Han, and Seungmin had contracted Covid-19.

“We inform you that Stray Kids members Lee Know, Han and Seungmin tested positive for Covid-19 on November 19 (Saturday),” the agency said.

He added: “After showing mild cold symptoms on November 18 (Friday), Lee Know and Han took Covid-19 self-test kits and tested positive. The members immediately went to a hospital that day to receive PCR tests, and Lee Know, Han, and Seungmin received positive results today.

“All Stray Kids members have received their third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, and Lee Know, Han, and Seungmin are following government guidelines by being quarantined and in separate living areas from other members,” it said. he declares.

The agency stated, “The five members except Lee Know, Han, and Seungmin all received PCR tests or rapid antigen tests from medical professionals and tested negative. All members will continue to focus on their personal hygiene and monitor their health. »

As a result, Lee Know will not be participating in the TV music show “Music Core” on November 19.

All three members have already tested positive for Covid-19. Han and Seungmin were diagnosed with Covid-19 in March while Lee Know contracted the virus in the United States in July.

On November 19, South Korea recorded 50,589 new cases of Covid-19, compared to 49,418 new cases recorded on November 18.

Over the past seven days, from November 13 to 19, South Korea recorded an average of 52,437 new cases per day to bring the total number of confirmed cases to 26.5 million since 2020.
