DJ Khaled invites several rappers to the recording studio for his album God Did – The UBJ

DJ Khalid 13th studio album, God made, was released at midnight on We the Best/Epic Records. He has many high-profile collaborations, including those with Duck, Kanye West, Future, R&B singers SZA and john legendjamaican dancehall artists buju banton, bounty killerand Sizzlaas well as the late Juice WRLD.

The new 18-song album also includes “Staying Alive,” a remix of the Bee Gees’ iconic disco song by Drake and Lil Baby. Stay alivethe main song of God madedebuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs and Streaming Songs charts and peaked at No. 21 on the Official UK Singles Chart, marking his biggest performance on that chart in the previous two years.

The new album follows Khaled Khaled from 2021, after Grateful (in 2017) and major key (2016). His sixth album No. 1 on the rap albums graphic was Khaled Khaled. Khaled said in an interview with Billboard, “To come up with a 13th album is, like, beyond unbelievable to me.” He continued, “The greats that I look up to, when I see how many albums they’ve released, I’m on the right track. And I know how hard it is to be in this game, some people can’t get past their first single or their first album.

His fifth studio album, We are the best forever (2011), which also contributed to Khaled’s rise to international prominence as it contained the song “I’m on One”, which became his first top ten. His eighth studio album, I have changed a lot (2015), reached number 12, while her sixth and seventh albums, kiss the ring (2012) and Suffering from success (2013), was in the top ten of the Billboard 200. Due to his social media engagement in 2015 and 2016, Khaled became a worldwide known media celebrity.
