Grief Matters support group starts new session Sept. 14 at Wheaton

The Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton invites anyone bereaved by the death or loss of someone to be part of the new session of the Grief Matters support group.

The group meets at 10 a.m. Wednesdays, September 14 through November 16, in the church commons, 224 N. Main St.

It’s a place where you can be with people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. You will obtain valuable tools to help you continue your journey of grief. Please register at garychurch.org/registrations.

Gary United Methodist Church offers a 9 a.m. Sunday service in the sanctuary, with the Children’s Church, as well as live streaming and recorded worship at garychurch.org. After worship, you can enjoy a coffee hour called “Special Blend”.

Sunday school for all ages resumes on September 11.

You can also take advantage of the new 11 a.m. Word and Sacrament Service, starting September 11.
