Hip-hop soul queen Mary J. Blige has given her endorsement to up-and-coming R&B quartet WanMor.
The South Jersey-born band of real-life brothers Big Boy, Chulo, Tyvas and Rocco have been announced as the first signing of the Emmy and Grammy-winning icon’s new imprint, Beautiful Life. Productions, a partnership with 300 Entertainment.
“There have been so many conversations about the state of R&B and the next generation of R&B artists,” Blige said. “This generation gave us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul, and that sound remains in our DNA. When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are THAT!

Wasting no time, WanMor shared their debut single, “Every Pretty Girl In The City.” The nostalgic tune, which features an android soul, harkens back to the ’80s, when boy R&B groups like New Edition and DeBarge wore their hearts on their sleeves and sang sweet love songs.
Speaking on the new single, WanMor shared, “‘Every Pretty Girl In The City’ is a celebration of all the girls in every city whose ‘pretty’ shines from within.”
“Every Pretty Girl In The City” is the lead single from WanMor’s debut EP which is slated for release this fall. The song arrives with a danceable music video that fits well with the song’s message of worship.
WanMor comes from a musical line, having Wanyá Morris of Boyz II Men as his father. Family aside, they worked to carve out a name for themselves.
In 2020, WanMor participated in Lil Uzi Vert’s 2020 platinum album Eternal Hold and more recently, “Heartless” by Hunxho, taken from his XHOSEN EP. They also had TV spots on America’s Most Musical Family and sesame streetto name a few.
Hope WanMor can study and finish homework early and heat up the stage for Blige’s headliner Hello beautiful visit, which will begin on September 17 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Ella Mai and Queen Naija will be special guests.
